How Coaches and Thought Leaders Define Prosperity

What is prosperity? It means different things to different people. Prosperity often conjures up images of people with huge incomes posing in front of huge mansions and expensive cars. Many people define prosperity as wealth, success and good fortune, but prosperity coaches and thought leaders who have come down to us through the ages know it’s much more than that.

Coaches and Thought Leaders Define Prosperity

Take a look at what some of the most influential people in history had to say about being prosperous:

The outer conditions of a person’s life will always be found to reflect their inner beliefs.
– James Allen

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
–Ralph Waldo Emerson

Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.
-Henry Ford

Despite the decades that separated the lives of these people, their ideas of prosperity revolved around a common theme: Prosperity starts from within. Prosperity coaches teach clients that they can’t depend on the external world to simply hand them prosperity in a gift-wrapped package because they want it to be so. It’s a process that starts with a conscious choice to create prosperity and take steps towards it. You’ll never find it if you’re looking on the outside because it begins with yourself.

Let’s take a deeper look at the real definition of prosperity:

There is no way to prosperity, prosperity is the way.
– Dr. Wayne Dyer

Prosperity is a choice.
Choose prosperity to secure your ultimate lifestyle.
– Chris Parkinson

Another critical mistake many people make is seeing prosperity as the destination at the end of the journey, the ultimate goal they want to reach sometime in the future. This is incorrect. Prosperity needn’t be perceived as a far off idea, it’s a choice for today. Prosperity can be more accurately perceived as a mindset – an attitude that you bring to your everyday life.

What Prosperity Coaches Know

Prosperity coaches will tell you prosperity is not the destination but the journey itself. Prosperity is the experience of living out your choice of leading a successful and fulfilling life. Making the choice is the easy part. You can probably come up with a dream, but how exactly can you manifest the prosperity you desire?

Catherine Ponder puts it this way:

If you want greater prosperity in your life,
start forming a vacuum to receive it.

If you’re holding onto negativity, there is no space for the positive to enter your life. To create the space, you must form a vacuum by letting go of the negative things in your life. This is called the Vacuum Law of Prosperity. Whenever there’s a vacuum, the universe immediately fills it up. Since the universe is inherently good, it always fills the vacuum with good. Learn how to let go of all the negative things that are holding back. That way, you can start manifesting prosperity into your life and attract the success you’ve always longed for!
