How to Get More of What You Want

In recent years, more and more people have been searching for new ways to get what they want in life. Most are already overworked and underpaid. They know there is more to life than this and they know they are going to have to do something different to get different results.

Many are exploring how to have success with using the Law of Attraction. The movie and book of The Secret have created quite a stir, both with those who have had some success and those who have not.

This sounds simple and in essence, it is, but many fall short on practical application. Most of the people who say they have tried to apply the Law of Attraction say it doesn’t work for them.

This is because most people think that if they want something the Law of Attraction should deliver it to them. What they don’t recognize is that they have to look further. There are some less known keys that are essential for making this happen.

You CAN Get More of What You Want

Just follow these simple steps.

1. Define specifically what you want and REALLY WANT it. It can’t just be a passing thought. It has to be more of an obsession.

2. Think about what you want most of the time. The unfortunate truth is that people are much more obsessed with what they DON ‘T want than they are with what they DO want. Interesting, isn’t it?

3. BELIEVE that you can get what you want. If you don’t believe in your dreams, they won’t come true.

4. Focus on your emotions as keys to your thinking. This is an essential shortcut for focusing on your thinking. After all, monitoring every thought that goes through your mind each day would be impossible.

Are you ready to put the pieces together and start to apply them in your life?

If you want your life to change, the time is now! And if you clearly define something you want, get a burning desire for its achievement, focus on it happening throughout the day, and feel good when you think about it, you are on your way.

On this website, we often apply success principles in the form of 30-day challenges. This is because it generally takes about 30 days of consistent focus to change a habit.

In this case, if you are like most people, you probably have more negative thoughts than positive thoughts each day. Some estimate that as many as 80% of the thoughts of the average person are negative. Staggering isn’t it? But you probably have to admit that you have some negative thoughts every day.

This is going to have to change if you want to create some wonderful things in your life. Even if you have less negative thinking than most, any steps you take to feel better and focus more on what you want will have positive impacts on your life.

Your 30-day Challenge

Pick something you want that you believe you can get (or clear any blocks with EFT) and focus on feeling good about it happening often during the day for 30 days.

Here are some possibilities:

If you want your life to miraculous and easy, focus on “I am one of the luckiest people in the world and unexpectedly wonderful things are happening every day.”

This is pretty general. If you want to focus on something specific you want to create, if could be something like:

“My income is increasing and more money is coming to me in miraculous ways.”

or

“My health is getting better every day and I am becoming the healthiest person I have ever been.”

or

“I love people and they love me. More and more positive, supportive people are coming into my life.”

For us, the statement “I love people and they love me” make us feel good. From there, it is believable that more wonderful relationships are on their way or maybe THE relationship you have been wanting is on the way.

To remind yourself of what you are creating, you can also write your affirmative statement on sticky notes and put them anywhere and everywhere you will see them throughout the day.

Another Essential Key to Your Success

With all of these dreams, here is another essential key to your success. As you focus on your dream each day, watch for signs that what you want is coming to you. ALSO, realize that it most likely will come in unexpected ways, so be open to some changes.

Also notice how good it feels to focus on positive feelings. Your efforts will pay off. After all, according to the Law of Attraction, the more positive feelings you have every day, the more things you will have to feel positive about.
