Accelerating Spiritual Growth: Real Tools for Real Change

What do you need to live your best life? Real tools for real change.

Certain things in life have such depth and value, it’s well worth spending time and energy developing mastery of them. Over many years, we have found holistic/spiritual coaching and healing to have such extraordinary value and results.

Here’s something most people don’t realize. You need both coaching and healing. The coaching, the masculine part, serves more action-oriented, rational and goal oriented. The feminine, the complementary part, promotes nurturing, intuition, and relations.

To evolve, you want to keep both in balance — not over- or under-active. Too much masculine and you can become cold, rigid and controlling. Too much feminine, you can become overly emotional, people-pleasing and lack boundaries.

Having the right holistic coaching and healing tools balances these dynamic elements in the moment and when needed.

By learning how to coach and heal yourself (and sometimes others), you develop inner wisdom. The channel Lazaris defines wisdom as seeing the big picture while being aware of the current picture.

For instance, you may have “failed” in some task, job or relationship for now. The question then to ask is how does that fit into the big picture of where you want to go? What are you learning?

Your Divine Feminine and Masculine

Whether you are a woman or a man, you are still composed of both feminine and masculine energies. By nature, some people are more energetically male or female.

Other factors determine these energies in each moment. There are biological differences at work. And certain situations call for a more masculine or feminine approach.

Here’s what’s important to understand.  It’s wise to recognize your own feminine and masculine energies – plus, how they can serve you to be your best self.

The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine

To understand these energies, we can access the spiritual realms. Feminine and masculine traits have shown up in Taoism’s yin and yang, the Hindu’s Shiva and Shakti, and Carl Jung’s psychology describing the anima and animus.

More specifically, we can find these qualities in goddesses, gods and ascended masters.

The “divine” here refers to the spiritual cosmic essence of these fundamental masculine and feminine energies. Our soul directly connects with these essences. However, the human realm and our personalities often distort these primary energies due to gender roles, societal expectations and free will. That can create distortion and imbalance.

A Spiritual Approach to Oracles and Tarot

Did you know that using oracle and tarot decks can be a profound spiritual tool and practice? It is for us and for a growing number of holistic-minded people.

Oracle card decks can be used for guidance, insight and inspiration. A tarot deck is a particular kind of oracle, with a certain number of cards and suits. It has been around for centuries, since ancient Egyptian times.

Oracle decks differ from the tarot cards in their themes, number of cards and purposes. There are hundreds of different oracle decks, focusing on areas like healing, nature, inner child, sacred sites and symbols.

There are also many variations on the classic tarot deck, with its major arcana (big picture) and minor arcana (details) cards. Whether you use an oracle or tarot deck, there is a wide array of choices and focuses.  There is also a range of spiritual depth the deck embodies.

On the shallower end, say a teddy bear or cupid deck, it may be more like an entertaining game, a fortune cookie or even a superstitious experience.

But with the right decks, you have a versatile, intuitive tool.  Using the deck’s pictures, words and interpretations can be eye- and heart-opening. The cards can spark your intuition and creative thought, revealing hidden meaning and profound insights.  This can confirm your hunches and thinking.

We will explore how oracle and tarot decks can deepen your life’s experience — and we’ll include an oracle card reading that we did for this article.
