The Benefits of Developing Your Intuition
Would you like to supercharge your intuition? Do you want to benefit from the insights your intuition can provide? If so, you’re not alone. Just about everyone could benefit from developing their intuition, and particularly from intuition training that includes EFT, the Emotional Freedom Techniques.
Many of our students and clients say that developing their intuition is a priority, as well it should be. This is your connection with the feminine, soulful, receptive part of your nature. It is also your source of inner wisdom and guidance, which is a critically important element for realizing your dreams.

What is intuition?
To describe the territory we’re covering here, consider these definitions.
“Intuition” is the power or faculty of attaining to direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference.
“Psychic” refers to being sensitive to nonphysical forces. This might include a having an ability to communicate with the spirit world or, in its use as an adjective, as something that cannot be explained by physical laws.
“Clairvoyance” is the ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception. Clairvoyance is also understood as intuitive vision.
We use the term intuition, rather than psychic or clairvoyance, because it is the most inclusive. More specifically, the approach we describe in our new EFT Intuitive Healer Certification Course is designed to empower users (and possibly clients) to discover and strengthen their connection with the truth within. This is an important distinction from the common practice of relying on a psychic or anyone outside oneself as the ultimate purveyor of wisdom.
Our description of this approach also needs to include EFT. The Emotional Freedom Technique is a fast and easy technique that just about anyone can use to clear emotional blocks, which are common with intuition.
The Painful Truth About Intuition
EFT helps to counteract the challenges that arise because intuition is clearly devalued. This is an unfortunate situation, and we now know that it is completely unnecessary. We’ve been there ourselves. Many years ago, we reached a point where developing our intuition and accessing our inner wisdom felt crucially important. It still took us years to find the real keys to success.
Many of the books we read and classes we attended skirted around the edges but failed to get to the heart of the matter. We continued finding ourselves guessing what to do. After much research and time-consuming trial-and-error, we now know precisely how to access intuition. We know how to use it in a wide range of applications and how to incorporate it directly into a holistic healing practice.
The Role of the Intuitive Mind
The intuitive mind is our source of inner guidance and wisdom. As such, it clearly deserves as much recognition as the rational, prove it to me part of the mind. Unfortunately, demands for tangible, “scientific” proof have caused many people to devalue their intuition, which is a sacred gift that deserves respect.
Actually, the problem is more than devaluing intuition. Our conflicted perspective on intuition is a source of inner turmoil.
Inner turmoil may relate to a number of factors, including:
With all these barriers to success, it’s not surprising that so many of the people who value their intuition are dissatisfied with the progress they’re making. They want to learn how to integrate intuition into their daily lives and utilize it as a tool for their personal and spiritual growth. Holistic practitioners and those who use EFT may sense it to be a uniquely powerful tool that could greatly enhance their work, and they are right.
And there’s more: a critically important missing piece of the puzzle that few people understand.
